──────────── Advanced features for SysOpMaker 2.1 ───────────────────────
By adding a few more lines of configurations you can really customize
your SysOpMaker to fit your needs.
Now you can add extra info after each BBS name & number. Up to 4 more
lines of information on that BBS. You select the color for this info.
Select the type of lines you want instead of double lines ("══" default).
Place a new header & flag line for each new page displayed.
CatCoded listing only (not text). You select the page lengths to fit
your system setup.
NOW Sort by BBS Name, Area Code, Prefix, Software & BAUD rate.
NOW Add title description to top line, after your BBS name.
* FIRST off, rename the advanced batch file to SYSOPMKR.CFG
Make a copy and rename it to SYSOPMKR.CF2 for a TEXT output,
don't forget the "t" for TEXT output in SYSOPMKR.CF2

SN <┐ │ │ │ │ │ │ │ └─ Line 15 = Number of nodes you are running.
│ │ │ │ │ │ │ │
│ │ │ │ │ │ │ └─── Line 16 = ASCII number for the lines.
│ │ │ │ │ │ │ Any ASCII number should work.. 196 = "─"
│ │ │ │ │ │ │ 205 = "═"
│ │ │ │ │ │ │ 178 = "▒"
│ │ │ │ │ │ │
│ │ │ │ │ │ └───── Line 17 = Redraw Heading & Flag line for each page.
│ │ │ │ │ │ Enter an "H" to redraw the Header & Flag lines for
│ │ │ │ │ │ each new screen (this way the user doesn't have to
│ │ │ │ │ │ remember each flag.
│ │ │ │ │ │ Anything but an "H" will turn this option off!
│ │ │ │ │ │
│ │ │ │ │ └─────── Line 18 = 1st page length.
│ │ │ │ │ This page will have the least amount of BBS's
│ │ │ │ │ listed because of the register & BBS name lines.
│ │ │ │ │ So... This will be about 3 lines shorter then
│ │ │ │ │ the rest of the pages.
│ │ │ │ │
│ │ │ │ └───────── Line 19 = Page length for the rest of the pages.
│ │ │ │ This should be about 3 lines longer then the first.
│ │ │ │ 19 is recommended. If you use the EXTRA lines for
│ │ │ │ BBS info, then you will have to play around with
│ │ │ │ the numbers until you get a match. The Header line
│ │ │ │ should end up on the TOP line.
│ │ │ │
│ │ │ └─────────── Line 20 = Number of extra lines of BBS info wanted.
│ │ │ This one involves a little bit of work.
│ │ │ In order for you to have more then one line of
│ │ │ extra BBS info (one liners are already setup in the
│ │ │ QUES0003.DAT file and all you have to do is add a
│ │ │ "1" in this field to have it displayed) you must
│ │ │ edit the QUES0003.DAT file.
│ │ │ This is really an easy thing to do if you
│ │ │ have played around with creating questionnaires.
│ │ │ The first extra line of info is line 24 in the
│ │ │ QUES0003.001 file that I already ask the visiting
│ │ │ SysOp. "Q: What do you specialize in?"
│ │ │ If you want them to be able to have more lines
│ │ │ to enter, you have to add them in the QUES0003.DAT
│ │ │ file RIGHT AFTER I ask the above question.
│ │ │ You can add up to 3 more lines (total 4) of
│ │ │ questions on that BBS.
│ │ │
│ │ │ If you do! DON'T forget to change the line that
│ │ │ asks if you are a SysOp or not to END on the new
│ │ │ ending LINE! Remember you just added some new lines
│ │ │ so it has to find the new ENDing line number.
│ │ │
│ │ └───────────── Line 21 = Color for the extra BBS information.
│ │ See color chart on Catcodes!
│ │
│ │
│ └─────────────── Line 22 = Title description after YOUR BBS name.
│ By placing a "n" in this position will have it
│ default to "Lists of BBS's". OR you can enter
│ your own description HERE by using "T" <space>
│ then your description.
│
└───────────────── Line 23 = Turning SORT on or off.
By placing an "S" on this line, you will turn on
the sort. To change the SORT order, see list below.
n = Sort OFF
SN = Sort by BBS Name
SA = Sort by (phone) Area Code
SP = Sort by (phone) Prefix
SS = Sort by Software
SB = Sort by BAUD rate
SR = Sort by Off Line Reader
SG = Sort by Game Boards
SF = Sort by File Boards
SD = Sort by Adult to Family Board
